I offer a variety of nutrition services for individuals, families, and groups.

Nutrition Counseling: 50 minute office visit or by phone or Skype

Comprehensive nutrition counseling that utilizes a mind body approach to nourishment and health. Sessions may be done on location or from anywhere over the phone or via Skype. Sessions include a complete nutrition and medical history, and an assessment of your nutritional wellbeing. A realistic plan is created based on your goals and lifestyle. Follow-up appointments are available to support and fine-tune nutrition goals and provide additional nutrition guidance.

Office Locations:

Jennifer’s primary office location is conveniently located in downtown Seattle across from Macy’s in The Securities Building: 1904 3rd Avenue Suite 918, Seattle, WA 98101

Tuesdays Jennifer sees clients at her Bainbridge Island office:
9431 Coppertop Loop, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 in the Collaborative Family Therapy Office next to Bainbridge Pediatrics.

Parking Downtown:

One hour of validated parking is available for the Securities Building Garage. The garage entrance is on 3rd Avenue, between Stewart and Virginia on the east side of the street. Please be sure to ask for validation during your appointment. Street parking is also available.

After Hours Appointments Downtown (6pm on & weekends):

The after hours entrance is located next to the fly fishing store on 4th and Stewart. The address is 1913 4th Avenue. Locate the call box next to the door and ring Jennifer Adler to be buzzed into the building. Go up the ramp and through the big double doors. Proceed to the elevator up to the floor to suite 918.

Each session is $110 per 50 minutes.
Rates are discounted and only applicable if paid on date of service. If using insurance the initial session is $188, and follow-up sessions are $144.

Insurance:

Did you know that your health insurance may pay for you to see a nutritionist?

You may have 4 visits per year or unlimited visits up to your maximum medical nutrition therapy or prevention and wellness benefit limit. A referral from your doctor may be needed, however, most health insurance plans do not require a referral when you see a provider who is “In-Network.”

Jennifer currently accepts the following health insurance plans (* indicates Preferred, In-Network provider with these insurance plans):

• Regence*
• United Healthcare
• Blue Cross of Washington* and Blue Cross/Blue Shield
• First Choice Health Network*
• Group Health – Options, Alliant Plus, Options PPO, Options Select and Alliant Select – allowed to see First Choice Health Network providers – special conditions or referrals may apply.
• Uniform Medical (Uniform Medical will allow their members to see Regence providers for some conditions. Call Uniform Medical for more information.)

If your plan is not listed here please contact Jennifer’s  insurance biller at 206.431.0138 or (info@mbsmedicalbilling.com) to check on your nutrition health insurance benefits. You may be able to see us as an “Out-of-Network” provider and your insurance will pay a certain amount of the costs. Jennifer also offers discounted cash rates for those with Medicare, patients without insurance coverage or patients who prefer not to use their insurance for nutrition visits.

Medicare:

Jennifer is not a Medicare provider. She is a “non-participating” provider with Medicare = Medicare will not accept claims for payment from non-participating providers. Medicare clients are offered a discounted cash rate and receive a detailed receipt created at the time of payment with each nutrition visit. The receipts can be submitted to Medicare and any secondary insurance providers for reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on the diagnoses being treated and are subject to approval by Medicare and secondary insurance companies.

Coverage for nutritionists varies between plans. Please check with your insurance carrier or our insurance biller for coverage details prior to making an appointment.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that Jennifer has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Clients will be billed in full for any no-show or cancellation within 24 hours of the pre-scheduled appointment. Remember, you are making a commitment not only to improved wellness, but to Jennifer as well. Please respect her time and effort in this matter.
