Supervision and Consultation for Therapists
with Sue Bates, M.Ed., LMHC
I have been counseling clients with eating disorders for 37 years. It is complex, rewarding work. There are many layers to an eating disorder that impact every area of a woman’s being and life. In order to be truly successful, eating disorder treatment must be the primary focus of practice, not an adjunct or secondary offering.

Therapist Supervision Services
As an accredited and approved supervisor for the State of Washington, I provide certified supervision for therapists seeking licensure in Washington State. Because of the complexity inherent in eating disorders, I only offer supervision to therapists pursuing an eating disorder specialty. Go to Therapist Classroom for more information.
In learning to help women heal their eating disorder, you will also develop skills, knowledge, and insight needed to work with incest survivors, adult children of alcoholics, victims of child abuse, dysfunctional relationships, parenting problems, and more.
Therapist Consultation Services
I offer consultation services to all therapists seeking to learn more about eating disorders, either to facilitate care of current clients or to provide additional information about specializing in the field.
