Emily Bell wants to help you discover the joy in eating. Food fulfills so much more than physical nourishment, among many things is also social and spiritual. She will partner with you to find a balanced and healthy way of eating that works for YOU. Emily will empower you to make choices that are appropriate and will strengthen your body. She has a personal passion for living greener and can guide you to eating sustainably and locally as well. Emily takes a mindful and supportive approach to partner with you to reach your goals. She strives to provide information that is up to date and supported by research. She works to create an environment where you can improve your health, relationship with food, and your relationship with your body. As a mother of two young children, Emily understands how challenging eating healthy while managing a hectic schedule can be. She believes in giving children a strong nutritional foundation from the beginning, and specializes in working with pregnant mothers and young families. She also specializes in eating disorders and works with individuals to help normalize eating habits. She worked at the University of California, Irvine with college students and athletes struggling to find nutritional balance.
Emily received her Bachelors of Science from the University of Washington, her Masters of Science in Nutrition Education from California State University, Chico, and is a Certified Nutritionist in the State of Washington.
Emily is available on Bainbridge Island for classes and individual counseling.
